I’m so excited to share my dinner party with boho vibes with you guys today! I had a clear vision of what I wanted and I think it came out perfect. The decor was inspired by my rose gold napkins and my favorite gold napkins rings. I knew I wanted a boho vibe that is casual and fun. I decided to include some pops of colors via burgundy, rose gold, touches of soft lilac, and hints of gold to add a bit more fun to the party. The inspiration for this was a fun, casual, and relaxing outdoor type of day.
FOR MY TABLE SETTING
For my table I decided to leave it bare and use simple woven bamboo styled placemats that I had around the house. I went with palm leaf plates to go along with my gold rose napkins that were tied with a detailed gold ring, making it the perfect base for my boho vibe feel. Then I place gold silverware and wine glasses with gold trims on them. I displayed some light pink taper candles with gold candle holders on my table. This added to my theme of keeping it fun and relaxing.
While fresh flowers are beautiful , you can still accomplish that same “WOW” factor by adding some artificial flowers. Its hard to believe that I used some pampas grass and artificial flowers mixed with fresh lilacs and burgundy flowers to create this amazing bouquet. I was really impressed of this flower arrangement because it’s a quick DIY and it really looks amazing!
FOR THE DESSERT TABLE
A dark wood desk was arranged with a gold rose runner on top, allowing the theme colors to stand out and give it that cute boho vibe effect. I also added some rose gold balloons under the table and before dinner I bring out another glass gold candle holder to draw attention to the dessert table. For the desserts, I made a plum swirl cheesecake and plum brie appetizers with fresh homemade jam from our plum tree. It was delicious!
I also added some kiwis in a rectangular basket and placed a ceramic vase with pampas grass to keep the theme going. To bring out the boho vibes, I got a bit creative by making a DIY wreath. It was really fast and easy to put together. I think it’s such a cute party decor idea and it can even become a home decor as well.
To keep the relaxing feel, I added a small round table against my almond tree. I then laid a small burgundy throw blanket that I had to help bring in the colors of my theme into my three clear candle holders. These clear candle holders are elegant, classy, yet relaxing and very easy to do. All this was created without having to spend a lot of money. I always try to use anything that I have around my house to make it work into my party decor.
To celebrate with style, we had SUTTER HOME sweet red wine. I placed it in a gold stainless steel ice bucket to keep it cool.
Nothing is better than pairing your favorite wine with a nice juicy steak.
This homemade plum swirl cheesecake was a hit! I’m so happy that I was able to include my fresh homemade plum jam into my party dessert and side dish. It really turned out delicious!
