Easter is one holiday that my family and I greatly enjoy! We love making family memories so why not make it even more special. We already have a family tradition of making Easter breakfast followed with some crafts, games, and the Easter egg hunt is for sure on our list!
Easter may look a little different this year, but it can still be a great one to remember! I have some easy and fun ideas on how to decorate and create some great family traditions.

We start our Easter day by making breakfast, which you can find all the details of our Easter Breakfast here. It’s very special to us to mention to our girls the meaning of Easter and to show our kids that we can celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus and also enjoy Easter as a family!

Let’s start with the backdrop

I decorated my bar stand with some balloons and a faux floral garland. Super easy to create, I just attached the floral garland to the balloons. I also displayed some of my sweet treats that include some Easter Bunny & Floral themed cakesicles, matching chocolate covered Oreos and breakable chocolate Easter eggs. You can purchase all these delicious treats here on my Etsy Store!

I had my husband make the bar stand for me on Christmas for a hot chocolate station and the wooden backdrop was made for Valentines, which all worked perfect for my Easter props. I wanted him to create something not too heavy so it’s easy for me to move it around by myself and at the same time very sturdy. These pieces turned out so great that I have been using them for some of my party ideas.

For the kids table

I layered some cute “Happy Easter” plates from Target that I had from last year on top of some large yellow dinner plates that I found at Party City. I then added on each place setting a breakable chocolate Easter Egg, which my girls had a blast smashing the eggs! I then used a pretty yellow watering pot which made a great centerpiece and finished it off with some beautiful fresh bloom tulips.

My girls loved this fun and bright table!

Hopefully this Easter party inspires you to create your own Easter fun!
