Father’s Day is around the corner, so I thought I’d share a really cool masculine tablescape idea with you! You’ll find all the inspiration you need to host the ultimate Father’s Day dinner party. This year, we get to celebrate Father’s Day outside since the weather is really warm.
For my place setting, I used a gray stripe tablecloth with the tassel accents that add just the right touch of texture. I chose a gray textured placemat and I place a black stoneware dinner plate along with pasta bowl. Added gray stripe napkin and black rings. I make this DIY photo succulent centerpiece with some of his favorite faces attached right to the top. Something we could enjoy in our home to celebrate the people we love. This is such an easy touch that truly makes the dinner party even more special. CLICK HERE FOR HOW TO MAKE DIY PHOTO SUCCULENT POT.
For this Father’s Day dinner party I wanted my husband to sit back and relax, after all this is his special day. I decided to cook his favorite dinner, chicken fettuccine alfredo pasta with zucchini and salad. For dessert I made plum tarts.
To make the most out of our sweet plum tree, now that they’re in season, I made some plum jam. This homemade plum jam is packed full of summer flavor. It’s perfect for almost anything, on toast, biscuits or eaten off a spoon. So delicious!
For the plum jam : I chopped some plums, added some sugar, lemon zest, and cornstarch. Heat over low flame until sugar begins to dissolve, stirring occasionally. After cooking for 30 minutes , your preserves should reach the right consistency or gelling point. Now is time to enjoy your plum jam !
For the salad :I garnish my salad with some plums slices and almonds. Simple but jet, bright and full of great summer flavor!
Chicken Fettuccini Alfredo Pasta With Zucchini
The quick and easy chicken alfredo pasta with zucchini. This recipe is made with store bought Alfredo sauce. Nothing beats homemade Alfredo sauce, but sometimes you can take a shortcut by using a quality store bought brand accompanied by my favorite Sutter Home Sweet Red Wine.
These mini tarts desserts are easy to prepare. They’re crisp and flaky with cream cheese inside, not to mention very hard to resist. You can even prepare them ahead of time if you’d like.
Thank you for stopping buy 🙂
